Rockland Paramedics offers a comprehensive training program to ensure our staff and our partners in healthcare maintain and expand upon the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the highest caliber and quality of patient care.
Our training program is overseen and maintained by our full time Training Officer, a NYSDOH Certified Instructor Coordinator who also maintains Regional Faculty and Program Coordinator positions with the NYSDOH Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.
Our organization is a New York State Department of Health Course Sponsor, an American Heart Association Training Center, and a NAEMT Training Center.

Student Preceptor Program
Rockland Paramedics actively participates in Rockland Paramedic Services Student Preceptor Program, allowing interning healthcare providers the added benefit of exposure to routine and emergent critical care inter-facility transport cases as well as basic life support and advanced life support pre-hospital care.
Rockland Paramedic Services maintains preceptor agreements with the educational programs at Dutchess Community College, Dominican College Division of Nursing, and Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine.
